A 30 min interactive show in the theatre suitable for children 3- 7 years. It’s almost time for the animals to hibernate but Dormouse isn’t too keen. Come along to the Shake Rattle & Boogie Christmas Special session! A dance and music class for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers with lots of festive cheer! This fun and interactive workshop is £5 per child and siblings are welcome to join in too! The Victoria Leeds Festive Lodge & Grotto arrives on the 7th of December. This enchanting winter wonderland will be outside of Victoria Gate on Sidney Street. Father Christmas is set to be extremely busy checking his naughty and nice list, so to avoid disappointment, be sure to book a slot to see him at the Grotto below. He will be visiting from the 8th-9th December at first, then from the 10th-14th from 2pm-6pm and then he’ll be back from the 15th-23rd December.

Every child visiting Santa will be given a passport to the North Pole, and will make their way through our elf check in. The diligent elves will check if children have been naughty or nice – and to make doubly sure children will have to pass through the special elf check-in scanner. They can then make their way to the magical grotto to meet Santa himself and receive a gift.
You can also book a Santa Special (Breakfast or Lunch With Santa) Meet Santa, take a tractor and trailer ride and enjoy a Christmas singalong with Rudolph and the elves.

Climb aboard the Kirklees Light Railway’s Santa Specials and travel in steam heated carriages to the North Pole (aka Shelley Station). Santa will be waiting in his grotto with sacks full of presents for the children.
Whilst waiting to see Santa, adults will be treated to a mince pie and festive tipple and children will enjoy biscuits and juice in the heated marquee.
Children will have an opportunity to write their letters to Santa, complete activity and colouring sheets and, if they want to brave the cold, have a run around on the outdoor playground.
