We are York based parents who are currently in the early stages of developing an exciting new baby product. The product is designed to help new parents and carers save money and frustration when feeding their babies. We are undertaking some market research to ascertain some key information from our market (other parents and carers!). Your help in providing this information will really help us in developing the product.

We are most interested in data from parents or carers with at least one child under 18 months old who have used a bottle to feed their baby – this can be exclusively for bottle feeding or in combination with breast feeding.  It doesn’t matter if the bottle was used with formula or expressed breast milk.

Part Time Swim Teacher – Flutterbabies


Do you like being around babies and pre-schoolers? Do you love swimming? Fancy a career change? Not wanting to go back to full time employment? Wanting hours to work round your little one? Wanting the best job ever????

Flutterbabies is looking for an additional swim teacher to join our fab team in the Leeds area. This is initially for maternity cover during the week in Bramhope on a Thursday and Friday (4 hours in total) and Bramley on a Monday (2 hours), but in the longer term for weekend classes – both Saturday and Sunday mornings (approximately 4 to 5 hours a week). There are also several other possibilities to give you additional hours during the week, which we can discuss further if you’re interested.

Ideally you will already have the STA Baby and Pre-School qualification, but if you don’t you certainly shouldn’t let this put you off as training can be arranged and enthusiasm and a willingness to go the extra mile are so important to us.

This is a self-employed role and you must also have excellent communication skills and be very smiley!! We follow the Birthlight method which is a gentle holistic approach to teaching and all our classes are child led. We are also a sensory aware swim school and we need someone who is compassionate and willing to adapt to suit each and every child they interact with.

Driving licence and access to a car essential.

Role Purpose:

To deliver top notch customer service to UKL clients and location owners ensuring that they have the very best experience by managing the end-to-end process for sales enquiries.

To ensure that all customer location requirements are fully understood and not only met but exceeded so that UKL go the extra mile to delight the client and location owner.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  1. You will prioritise and manage your workload for the day and communicate with clients and location owners to manage their expectations
  2. At the morning sales meeting, you will lead on updating the team on current and new enquiries and share the workload as needed
  3. Customer enquiries are made via the phone and website and it will be your job to manage these and ensure they are dealt with within the UK Locations service level agreement
  4. Your talent for listening, questioning and interpreting briefs will allow you to send location options that will delight the client
  5. You will efficiently and effectively manage all aspects of the booking process, which includes speaking to owners to check availability, negotiating fees, producing recce schedules, updating all parties, producing contracts using our electronic system, confirming the shoot, getting feedback and managing post shoot queries
  6. Our customers rely on us having the most up to date information at our finger tips, therefore you will work closely with the Location Development Team to feed in any information changes to the Customer Relationship Management System
  7. On a monthly basis you will be asked to present sales insights to the rest of the team at the Board Meeting. You will also conduct regular customer service questionnaires and feed key findings back to the team
  8. You will work closely with the Finance Team to ensure the sales-to-payment process is slick, timely and seamless
  9. Your day will end by you ticking off all your daily goals and ensuring all parties have everything they need. On some occasions, your work will go beyond the normal hours and you will need to have a flexible approach to this

You will be given support and encouragement to grow into this role with any skills training provided to you as required.
