Centerparcs is an excellent, adventure filled holiday with lots to do for the kids! Accommodation comes in a range of sizes and styles to suit all families- you can even stay in a tree house! The site hosts a range of exciting things to do like high wires, a huge swimming pool, bike hire, pony riding, quad biking, paint balling and loads more. Centerparcs has five locations all over the UK meaning there is bound to be a site within driving distance!
“A very traditional activity based hotel now with additional log cabins. The fore runner to centre parcs. Far more traditional and laid back than centre parcs with less of the hard sell and set in incredibly beautiful surroundings even in Feb. Lots of local attractions to visit and on the edge of Crieff which is a short downhill walk away (uphill on way back). Lots of activities predominantly outdoors for children none of which were particularly expensive and some free. Conventional indoor pool with a slide which was ideal for getting little ones going as never busy. Good crèche and babysitting service. Rooms traditional, functional and clean, staff extremely helpful. A variety of foods are available from a number of different restaurants etc to suit all tastes from French cuisine, traditional afternoon tea to spaghetti hoops. We were there in term time so there were plenty of families with small children like us, then business conferences and pensioners coach trips so very quiet and laid back no noisy bars or discos.”

If you fancy a bit of sun but don’t want to travel too far with the kids, Europe is your best bet and throughout Europe there are over 180 Eurocamp destinations. Eurocamp is a great place to go if you fancy a bit of camping but they also have permanent lodges. There are loads of activities for the kids and even kids clubs if you need a day off.
Florida is home to Disneyworld and Universal studios as well loads of other places to visit with the kids so if you’re a daredevil family with a love of rollercoasters or huge Disney fans this is perfect for you! The only drawback to this destination is the flight length, making it potentially unsuitable for younger kids.
Golden Sands is one of our most spacious holiday parks, with plenty of room to explore within the park itself or on the stunning nearby beach which is, as the park name suggests, both golden and very sandy. There’s lots to keep you occupied during your stay, from splashing around in our pool to family friendly fun at our funfair and crazy golf course. Fancy a go at something a bit more adventurous? Jump into a safety harness and have a go on our climbing wall and high ropes course! And if something a little more relaxing appeals to you we have the perfect answer for that too – a few hours sat beside the waters of our two beautiful fishing lakes.

The first thing you notice about our Primrose Valley Holiday Park is how big it is! Big in size, big in personality and big in things to do. And we can promise you one thing: you’ll never have a dull day here. Have a splash around in our refurbished swimming pool with its flumes and water features. Out of the water, have a go on our climbing wall and see if you can make it all the way to the top. If you’re in the mood for something more relaxing, spend a few hours lazing on the banks of our fishing lake. The kids will love spending time at the funfair, and if a day trip appeals, the picturesque town of Filey is just a short way along the coast.
