With over 3 million website visits annually and a social media community of over 235,000+ people, Mumbler provides a local on-line hub for all of the information that a family could need.
Mumbler was initially established in Harrogate, North Yorkshire in 2012 by mum of 2, Sally Haslewood as a means of centralising the huge volume of online information for local families. With coverage across much of England and plans to expand further, the Mumbler brand has become synonymous with community, trust and parenting support.
Mumbler came about because I had a toddler and a brand new baby and had just moved back to my hometown of Harrogate after 12 years away. I knew no other parents and didn’t know where to take my kids or what was going on locally for families. Harrogate.mumbler.co.uk launched in 2012 and this first Mumbler website went on to become the most trusted & influential resource for parents in our town.
The community that I created and my personal reasons for creating it continue to underpin everything that I do as a business. My mission is to make family life easier for parents and I want every parent & carer in the UK to be able to benefit from the resources that a Mumbler website provides.
From my own experience, I know how daunting it can be to take the leap of faith and change careers, particularly when you have a young family.
